Leadership teams turn company gathering into an opportunity to give back through Feed My Starving Children
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – October 29, 2026 – GreatWater 360 Auto Care recently brought together teammates from its SSC and field leadership teams for two days of collaboration, development and planning. But part of their time together was dedicated to something beyond the business: helping provide meals for children in need.
Partnering with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting childhood hunger, GreatWater teammates packed 29,376 meals into 136 boxes, enough to provide daily meals for 80 children for an entire year.
In addition to volunteering their time, GreatWater contributed $8,500 to support the organization's mission.
The volunteer event was part of a broader leadership gathering focused on strengthening relationships, building leadership capabilities and preparing for the company's continued growth. Taking time to serve together provided an opportunity for teammates who work across different departments and markets to connect through a shared purpose.
"At GreatWater, we spend a lot of time talking about what we can accomplish when we work together," said Jim Dykstra, CEO of GreatWater 360 Auto Care. "This was an opportunity to put that into action in a different way. Seeing our teammates come together to help children and families around the world is something we're incredibly proud of."
