Tire Protection Plan
You can take great care of your tires, but you can’t control everything you encounter on the road. Nails, glass, potholes, and road debris can damage a tire when you least expect it. Our Tire Protection Plan (Road Hazard Protection) gives you added protection for your investment against unexpected road damage. It’s an optional layer of coverage designed to give you more confidence after you leave the shop.

What Does the Tire Protection Plan Cover?
- Everyday Road Hazards - Helps cover eligible tire damage from everyday road hazards like nails, potholes and debris.
- Repair at No Charge - If your covered tire can be safely repaired, we’ll repair it at no charge and help get you back on the road.
- Tire Replacement Support - If your covered tire can’t be safely repaired, we’ll help with replacement under your plan.
- Coverage at Any GreatWater Location - Your plan is honored at any of our 170+ locations, so help is nearby when tire trouble shows up.
How Long Does Coverage Last?
Your Tire Protection Plan covers eligible tires for 36 months from the date you purchase your new tires and Road Hazard Protection, or until any part of the tire tread that comes in contact with the road reaches 2/32" or less, whichever comes first. Coverage is documented on your original invoice, so you’ll know exactly when your protection begins.

Road Hazard Protection isn’t unique to tire dealerships or tire stores but protecting your tires shouldn’t have to come with their price tag. We offer comparable tire protection at a lower cost, giving you another way to protect your new tire investment without paying more than you need to.
